Friction Free Shaving’s New New Shave Cream | Review

Shaving, it’s one of the biggest everyday pains in the behind. It’s something I do every single day without fail, often twice in the summer months to avoid the dreaded six o’clock shadow – yes that’s a ‘thing’ for women and our underarms and legs.

Friction Free Shaving are on a mission to change all that; they sent me their Samantha razor and blades for a month along with their brand new Catatonic Shave Cream. Friction Free Shaving launched in 2015 and as the first shaving club designed exclusively for women they’ve taken social media and women’s shaving habits by storm.

I began using the razor earlier this week along with the new catatonic shaving cream and I have to say that it is by far the best shave I’ve ever had. No in grown hair, no friction, no itch just seriously smooth skin, irritation free that allows me to get on with the important things in life.

The shaving cream contains Manuka honey, shea butter and coconut oil and the result is a product that feels at home as part of my skincare routine. It’s consitency and scent have a natural luxe feel to them and a stark contrast to the sparkly synthetic gels we are accustomed to. It’s fast become part of my shower routine that I most look forward to.

The idea is pretty simple you choose your razor – Faye, Frankie or Samantha and subscribe to receive monthly delivery of four new blades allowing you to change one a week for the smoothest shave.

It’s shaving taken seriously, yes the different razor ranges have fun names, but that’s not their main focus. Their main focus is to provide good quality razors for women that don’t conform to the glamourised, sexualised and unrealistic shaving products and adverts that are aimed at women. Because yes I may like smooth skin, stubble free but that doesn’t mean I identify with running along a beach and being happy; shaving should be part of my life, not something that identifies me.

Friction Free Shaving may still be relatively new on the block but it’s set to revolutionise shaving. Good quality shaving is a must if we’re to get on with the business of being us… Friction Free Shaving is your shaviour.

So, last night my wife’s been complaining about her shaving razor, she said she’s done with it. Lol. I felt sorry for her complaints, I know the struggle, because she’s not always in a good mood when the shaving razor doesn’t do what it does. Glad I found this post, I will buy one for her, I hope she will like it. Is this available on amazon? Or I have to purchase it through their website? Thanks!

I really like that razor! Would you happen to know if they are sold separately?

The right choice to use Cationic shave cream because the cream uses coconut oil that is used to moisturize the skin so that the skin does not feel dry after shaving
