You may be forgiven for thinking that it’s a sunny April afternoon what with the biblical showers and spring like breeze but I can assure you that in fact it is nearly the end of June which can only mean one thing: it’s Britmums Live 2012!
Britmums Live is THE parent blogging Event of the year, nearly 500 bloggers in one venue doing what we do best – talking, learning and hopefully a lot of laughing!
With a civilised start time of a Friday afternoon I’ve been able to cram in a day full of play with Boo before creeping off as she naps at Grand-ma’s – I’m writing this while sat on the tube on the way up to Moorgate counting the stops like a tourist!
Over the next day and a half I will meet lots of different people some for the first time others will be an opportunity to add a face to the name or probably more appropriately twitter handle!
Britmums Live is not only an opportunity us to learn blogging tips and best practice but also to do a spot of good old-fashioned networking. So whilst I’ll be Mummy from Mummy and Boo (@mummyandboo) I will also be there as Rosie (@rosiecorriette).
I’ll be tweeting a picture of what I’m wearing each day – and I can promise that today’s is pretty bright so they’ll be no chance of not seeing me!
