So the cobwebs are starting to form on mummyandboo.com. With Christmas morning winking at me cheekily, it’s been hectic to say the least. Boo has been busy testing the acoustics of all major shopping centres with her growing lungs whilst I struggle to differentiate between the old and new Ben 10 so as not to disappoint the youngest stinky.
However my trusty keyboard hasn’t been completely idle. Last week saw my first article as contributor on Mums on the Blog published. Blended with Bits is my take on our very blended family, stepchildren and all! I think it’s fair to say that the piece was well received by the man and stinkies, although Boo is yet to deliver her final verdict!
Mums on the Blog describes itself as ‘Yep! Another Mummy site…’ This isn’t all true; Mums on the Blog brings together a entirely eclectic mix of contributors some seasoned and some barely thawed just like me! Posts vary from ramblings, rants and I’m sure I’ve spied a recipe in there somewhere?!
The school Christmas holidays have well and truly begun, so I’m sure over the coming days, the trappings of family life will result in Mummy and Boo retreating up to our master suite (laptop under arm) and who knows Boo may just allow me the odd post or two!
Come Christmas Eve whether you’re sipping champagne cocktails – in which case I’m burning holes in the back of your head with my envious glare, or fearing to open the fridge in case a stray brussel sprout makes a bid for freedom; Mummy and Boo wish you a fabulously festive Christmas!
